NEWS VON NEVIN

Hallo!
So, endlich gibts wieder News. Die "stille" Zeit auf der Homepage symbolisiert quasi meine ruhigere Zeit im Frühling. Ich gönnte mir nach der Saison zwei Wochen Ferien zuhause im Engadin. Das Skigebiet war da bereits geschlossen und ich verbrachte einige Zeit auf dem Bike, beim Joggen und mit Freunden. Ich hatte Zeit die Eindrücke der Saison nochmals Revue passieren zu lassen und dann richtig einzuordnen. Es ist ja viel passiert mit Olympia etc. und es war meine beste Saison bis jetzt. Sehr viele grosse Ziele konnte ich in dieser Saison erreichen und ich bin sehr stolz darauf.

Im April hatte ich auch einen kurzen Einsatz beim Filmen fuer SG Snowboards hier in der Schweiz - es hat mir wie im Vorjahr wieder grossen Spaß gemacht mit Sigi Grabner, Manabu Kobayashi und Hü (René Hürlimann). Es wird wieder ein Snowboardvideo fuer Japan 2010/11 daraus geschnitten!

FIS World Cup Finals - SG PROTEAM rocks!

At the FIS World Cup Finals in Spanish La Molina our Rookie-Rocket Ina Meschik jumped on the podium again - 3rd place - yeah!

Pat Holland's Podium Premiere

At the FIS World Cup Season's Finals in Spanish La Molina SG-PROTEAM-Rider Pat Holland earned with a Third Place his first World Cup Podium in his career.

With a strong performance throughout the race he jumped on the podium behind SBX World Cup winner Pierre Vaultier/FRA and Alex Pullin/AUS.

Congratulations from all the SG crew! We are very happy for you, Pat!

That is a great way to finish the season, now Pat can enjoy his summer with fly-fishing, one of his biggest hobbies.

Hallo Zusammen! 

5. Rang beim Weltcup in Valmalenco ITA 

Yes, wieder ein Topresultat! Heute erreichte ich in Valmalenco beim zweitletzten Weltcup der Saison den 5. Rang. Das ist nach dem 4. Rang von Sudelfeld von Anfangs Februar mein zweitbestes Resultat im Weltcup.

Im Achtelfinale gewann ich gegen meinen Teamkollegen Heinz Inniger das Duell. Gegen den Olympiasieger Jasey Jay Anderson CAN war dann im Viertelfinale leider Endstation für mich. Trotzdem freue ich mich natürlich sehr, dass ich zu den Schnellsten gehöre. Die Bedingungen waren einmal mehr perfekt, super Wetter, super Piste... da kann man nicht viel sagen :-)

Jetzt gehts nun weiter nach La Molina in Spanien, wo am nächsten Sonntag das Weltcup Finale stattfindet. Da werde ich natürlich nochmals Vollgas geben!

SG PODIUM SWEEP IN MOSCOW PSL

New Face on the Winner Podium


SGsnowboards riders Aaron March/ITA, Benjamin Karl/AUT and Roland Fischnaller/ITA completed a Podium Sweep at the FIS WorldCup PGS in Moscow. And there is a new face on the Winner's Wall: Aaron March took his first World Cup victory facing thousands of cheering spectators right in the capital of Russia. Congratulations and enjoy the celebrating in Moscows nightlife!

Olympic Medals on SGsnowboards

At the Olympic PGS at Vancouver 2010 the SGriders Benjamin Karl and Marion Kreiner won the Silver and Bronze Medals - Congratulations!

Both did a great job and showed very strong riding in worst imaginable weather conditions.

The Gold went to Jasey Jay Anderson and Nicolien Sauerbreij, Mathieu Bozzetto got Bronze and Ekaterina Iljuhina the Silver Medal.

SG Ladies on Telluride PGS Podium

Austria's SGsnowboards Ladies Marion Kreiner and the "Rookie Of The Year" Ina Meschik carved up on the Podium at the second Telluride WorldCup PGS on Thursday 17th of December.

Marion showed in which good shape she is in this Olympic Season winning the qualifiers by far and only had to let Alena Zavarzina pass in the big finals.

Big show of Ina Meschik reaching her first WorldCup podium at Telluride! Being Second after the qualifiers she was literally flying onto the podium for Third with her radical riding style. A new face on the podium which we will certainly see there more often.
